How dependable?

How dependable? I am getting a 02 firehawk m6, bone stock with 12,000 miles and I want to get blown....I was thinking doing the ATI P-1SC kit and keeping it at a relatively low boost level, for a while...I know I would have to get a tune but I was wondering will it last for a while on a stock block seeing 6-8 psi??
Like anything else it depends how much you beat on it and how greedy you get. If you can keep it to a reasonable amount of power and beating the stock engine will last a good while if its in good shape to start with. Mine has 19K on it, 10K of them are pretty much beat as much as you can and its still going
