T-4 divided flange.
I just don't see the point if you can't remove the divider 100%. Say it necks down to 1" on each side of the scroll at the end of the volute. What is the point of removing the divider before this point? The smallest point in the system (bottle neck) remains the same.

I could see it working a tad better seperating the banks, even on a v-8. Maybe even a 180 or 360 exhaust routing, but that would get complicated.
I just try to view it as the wheel views it; Perhaps more of a unified pulse from one end of the wheel to the other as it rotates. The angle of attack on the tail of the turbine to the following pulse passage has changed a certain degree based on RPM.

If this is true and the largest "T4" housing you can get is say a 1.25AR TS. Then it would mean if you had the ability to remove the scroll 100% it would "act" like a larger housing.

Not 100% sure just how far down the divider goes, as never really paid any attention to them
