Thoughts on Comp Turbo
I ran the 6262 triple ball bearing with the standard compressor wheel with map width grooves machined in cover and water cooled and it was a fantastic and reliable turbo on my 3.0 v6. I wouldnt hesitate to run one again, although they are pretty pricey
Stay away from Comp. I bought an oil less 78/79 and took it off after ~500 miles. The customer service was terrible. Buy a Borg Warner and don't look back. The reliability of a Borg Warner is hard to beat.

mine lasted all of 2 months on a cobalt I had back in college, ran at a stupid low 10psi
they said that unless I could prove the turbo was what was smoking in the exhaust they wouldn't warranty it. I took it off, bolted a borg warner on, it stoped smoking and they still claimed it wasn't there shity turbo.
They've gotten cocky recently too and upped their prices to on bar with borg, which is ridiculous considering how good any BW is
