Default yet another question about cams

I'm thinking of getting a cam (you know becasue my car didn't come with one haha.. j/k) anyway It's a 98 TransAm with a vortech supercharger, long tubes headers, 3400stall 3.23 rear. I'm trying to decided between the 02 LS6 cam, GM Hot Cam, or Other possibly better cam.

What I want:
I know this is the wrong thing for a blower car, but I'd like the "cammed" sound, which is why the GM hot cam in in the line up. I know one of the guys around here is running a hotcam on his forced induction setup and still makes good power. the 02 LS6 cam is in the lineup becasue of price vs. performance. One of my friends runs this cam on his vortech and it seems to do very well. Now I know that there are many many many cams around, but which is best for my application? My car is mostly a daily driver with weekend trips to the track so I need to maintain reliability as well. At this point I'm making 407rwhp and 529rwtq. how do you think those numbers would change with the cams I mentioned before?

224/230//114/+2 would sound more cammy then 02 LS6 cam.

Hotcam gets a no from me.

Justin,
I did 224 581 230/591 114+4 it sound very health a bit more lope then my friends C-2 cam 224 581 224 581 112+4. The lift is not as important it is just where my heads were flowing the best at those lifts ETC... I would recomend 224 550-580 on the intake side and 230 550-580 on the exhaust side and you will want to keep the LSA on a 114 or higher to maximize the blower. That is just my suggestion and I see PSJ agrees with me and seems like we have always agreed in the cam department for sure. I love my cam no drivability issues and I make very good power. The +2 or 4 or what ever is the amount of advance that is ground into a cam when it is ground from the manufacturer. I could suggest a few other cams but I know what you mean about the cam sound I wanted it to and was worried about not being happy with it untill I herd it start and then I was happy! So I don't want to recomend anything that I haven't herd so that is why I am not making any more suggestions, but for a rule of thumb you want 4-6 degrees ov lobe seperation between the intake and the exhaust duration and alway more on the exhaust side IE: 224/230 or 220/226 or for only four degrees of seperation 220/224 224/228 ETC... You get the picture. That cam sound is not only determined by the LSA 114 or 115 ETC.. but by the lift and duration play a prt in this also. Good luck. I would not go with the HOT cam although they sound good just not good for a blower yeah there is a guy making @600 rwhp with it though. It is just not efficient at all on that 110 LSA.
