Default Ebay gt45

I know genuine gt45 are 80 mm and the 200$ ones are 61mm. If i want to achieve somewhere around 1000hp on a 5.3 (forged everything, 317 heads etc) will i need 2 of them? Kind of new to turbos so i dont know how well they spool. Any advice would be great. Thanks

If you're going to spend the money on a forged rotating assembly, why run a $200 turbo?

Get a BW S475 at the least.

cxracing t4 gt35s are 61/62 and a pair will top out around 800 on a 5.3. these are about $250-270 ea
the ebay gt45 is a 69mm compressor and will probably do 700 as a single on a 5.3. theres better ebay options than twin gt45s for a 5.3. those turbos are the size of a refrigerator. i paid about $240 for my gt45 a couple years ago i think.
a friend of mine picked up a pair of real nice 72/68(i think) from ebay for about $280 each. they are about the same size as the t4 61/62s but much larger wheels. i am really thinking about replacing my 61/62s with them.

317s on a 5.3 would be way too low compression. stock heads or 243s with flat top pistons is my recommendation.

Do you know where i can find a big single turbo for good power like around 800hp. Motor is low comp so it would take foreever to spool 1 lol

Looks like an exact copy of a BW S475, which is an awesome turbo. Whether it is the same quality or not i cannot tell. Seems like it might be a decent buy tho considering a legit Borg Warner is a couple hundred dollars more.

Im quite curious about it actually
