05 CTS V, built, maggied, nitrous
Made 480rwhp on stock bottom end and stock heads and unported blower and pre 1:1 rears.
Finished up last week getting re tuned only picked up 20whp for ported the heads, blower, and 1:1 rears. Seems a little low for me.
Have a few questions, what's the max rpm of a mp112, I think I'm over spinning the blower just creating heat, should I go up to a 3.0"? Pulling 15psi out of it but I know more boost doesn't mean more power, also means more heat, yes it's meth inj too.
Also headers are starting to glow during crusing and if I let it idle after they're still a bit red, haven't checked for vac leaks yet, TB is over ported a bit idle is a tad high.
Yes my AFR are perfect 14.7, timing is spot on, checked lifter preload thought maybe a valve could be hanging open to long that was ok. I'm thinking I'm overspinning the blower and causing high temps causing the headers to glow? No cats btw.
