Turbomonza build
Hello,
i have a Chevy Monza, 8.5cert chassis car witch had a N/A 355cui sbc on methanol. It has a PG with transbrake, 9" rear
The last couple of years ive been searching and saving for parts to build the new combo.
Stock lq4 from a 2004 Hummer H2 180000miles, spun a cam bearing.
-New oil pump
-New main, rod and cam bearings, ARP rod bolts
-Tui 1.5 cam
-ls7 lifters, pac springs, hardened pushrods
-Homeported heads 853, MLS headgasket, ARP headstuds
-Holley Hi ram intake with 95mm throttle body
-Holley 160lb injectors
-Holley HP EFI ecu
-Twin 62mmTurbonetics
-Aeromotive belt driven fuel pump
-Moroso vacuum pump
The rebuild engine is in the car, everything is plumbed, just waiting on some bits and pieces before we can finnaly start the engine for the first time.
It will be running on straight methanol and hoping to see some hp numbers soon
