Rear mount turbo section help
Rear mount turbo section help I have a 370ci with the upgraded Garrett 76mm from sts. It falls of at 5600 so I was going to upgrade to a bigger turbine. My question is I like this turbo from another non sponsored company. It's a bw s400-80mm with 83mm turbine but it comes with a .90a/r turbine housing. It's been totally ported comp and turbine side and even the t4 scroll has work done to it. Would I run into the same back pressure issues with the .90 ar even though it's a bigger turbine? I think mine is only a 74mm now. I was thinking it might spool a lil quicker with the smaller ar to make up for it being rear mount, it is a 6sp car. It's a 8.5 compression so I was just gonna try and run 18lbs or whatever I can on pump gas. On 12 lbs it makes 624hp now I would like to be around 750 to 850 rwhp. Would the .90ar at 18lbs still get to 850hp? Thanks for any help I've read all of zombies posts and about every other rear mount thread and would appreciate any help.
