D1SC 8 rib to 6 rib?
D1SC 8 rib to 6 rib? I know this sounds backwards, but I do not have enough clearance to run an 8 rib set up.
My car is a frankenstein build.
Vette accessories, low mount alternator,
Procharger had 8 rib bracket in the vette location but I need to shim it out for a 6 rib pulley since the belt is walking forward on the 8 rib.
Does anyone know if an offset 6 rib will space it out to the same place as the 8 rib, minus - ribs? Or what would be the distance of shimming to align the belt in place with the 6 rib brackets?

The offset pulley is going to put it out too far for what you're doing. It sounds like you have a bracket alignment problem that needs to get worked out. Bob
