Default Home made methanol tank

I didn't have the money to buy the nice methanol tank from alky control when I bought there methanol system. I work at a fab shop so I grabbed a couple pieces of scrap stainless and tacked this up its nothing special I haven't finished it yet so before I do I was wondering does anyone see why it wouldn't work right. I put the baffle inside it to keep the methanol gravity feeding to the pump I just haven't welded the fitting in place this tank should hold about 2 or so gallons and be mounted in the bed of my s10 with a make shift lid and fill neck any suggestions let me know

This is where the tank will sit on some rubber bushings

Looks really good. Where did you get the cap for it?

The cap is just a 316ss pipe thread cap but it works for now till I order a fuel cell cap and template to add a more stealth clean look

I have seen a lot of guys use lids like the ones on boat decks they are cheap and effective. I got the idea off yellowbullet

I would just put the fitting on the bottom without baffles. The tanks that I have had before and my current tank have no baffles.

I would like to have all the space I can for methanol so I would.like to either re do the baffle or remove it I was just worried if the level got low I wouldn't be able to keep the fees line full and not let any air into the system but I guess I need a low level sensor or better maybe a sending unit and a gauge in my pod the plan was to at some.point add a nice fuel cell and use my stock tank as a methanol/water tank but I don't think I will.be able to keep it mixed right
