Default Wastegate Preload Question

My controller (turbosmart dual stage) generally holds ~7psi on the low setting with the Synapse 50mm WG preload turned all the way down. I tightened it all the way to see if it would boost quicker, well, it appeared to, but now isn't controlling the boost. You guys see each gear change this thing making quite a bit more? This happens on higher boost even with the preload loose. **** wastegate?

What do you guys think?

You're one of the 99% that seems to have a problem with the Synapse gate. Do a search here, this isn't exactly uncommon.

If your boost controller is a spring type, you can adjust the controller itself to help build boost faster.
