Default Dividing up forced induction

Hey guy, I bought my 2000 camaro ss last year and began my build. I was told by a wise man a couple of years ago to build a car from the back to the front as you'll endure alot less headaches. So I put a 9 inch with a bolt through center section and a wave trac diff with 35 spline strange axles in, I then did subframe connectors, lca, pan hard , and tunnel mounted torque arm.

This year I am currently installing a t56 magnum tick stage 4 trans, monster twin disc, 3.5 inch chromoly driveshaft, and all the upgraded hydraulicso to go with it.

The purpose of this thread is to try to look for some advice of how to divide up and finish my build. I'm looking for a end goal of 700-800 whp by route of forced induction with a budget of hopefully 15k but more than likely 20k. I'd like to try to improve the car each year and span this build over about 3 winters so the wife doesn't kill me. My plan was to do a short block, along with a procharger in the range of d1sc- f1x, full fuel system and gauges

So what I'm looking for help with is how can I split up this build to make it ecomically feasible, and still be able to drive the car in between up grades.

The car will be mostly street car with the occasional trip to the strip, annual mileage of about 3000-5000 miles, with a emphasis on reliability, and hopefully a 10 second past with me driving ( I'm no pro)

Thanks guys for any help

I suppose following your build process you would be best to build the motor first if you want to split it. Or if you want a little instant gratification to keep you motivated, just get the charger system and fueling installed on low boost and build the motor later.

I was thinking maybe afr 225s blower cam, fast 92 intake, throttle body and maybe try to do a return fuel system the first year, the cars currently crammed, headers ls6 intake, and pick up truck heads I forget the number but the higher compression smaller valve pick up heads, it made 411whp through the stock 10 bolt before I yanked it

I was hoping I could just switch that stuff over once I get a short block the following year, I was worried about trying to pulley down a blower that big to not grenade the stock internal ls1

Sticking with your philosophy, I'd do the supporting mods minus cam first, and just put the cam in the new short block when you're ready.
