AEM Tru Boost Install Problem
I recently purchased an AEM Tru Boost for my turbocharged 5.3 in my GMC Sierra, but after it was first installed the truck would run full rich. I am not sure if there was a vacuum leak in one of the hoses I installed or the way it was installed. The following is the configuration I installed in in:
The first hose went from the top of the waste gate to the boost controller module on port 1. The second hose going to the boost controller module on port 2 was coming off of the intake piping after the blow off valve, but before the throttle body; does this sound correct?
Why would the truck go instantly rich on the wideband as soon as I touched the gas? If I tried to launch off the line it would get so much fuel it wouldn't even move for about a second. I have removed the module and it is running normal again.
