With turbos how far will a torque arm take you?

I'm guessing you mean the factory torque arm, still mounted on the transmission? If so, it depends on a couple of things. (1) is if the car actually hooks.. (2) is wheel hop. ..and (3) I would say power. I still have the factory torque arm, and I'm just shy of 800rwhp and it makes 900ft/lbs. But. ...I'm on street tires....and the car doesn't really wheel hop.

In 1/8 mile racing for instance what et do you ditch the torque arm and go with 4 link

No need to do anything that radical. There are guys running the short drag style torque arms cutting 1.1x 60's

Guys are going deep into the 4s on torque arm setups. Take a look at how fast guys are going with the Midwest Chassis torque arm setup.

We've been 4.56 at Joliet (in Street Outlaw trim) and 7.17 at WCF (back in 2014 with the old setup in X275 trim) with Eric's stuff.
