Default Gears
Mornin all. I need some input on gear selection. I currently have 373's in now. Had a 4l60 but crapped out so I put in a built 400 with. 3000 stall. Works great but obv. It runs out fast. How far should I go with the gear! 76mm with a bone stock 4.8 at 15psi right now

Not really enough info, but 2:73s will probably be good.....assuming you aren't running really tall tires.

30" tires. What else would help you know more?

With 30" tall tires and a TH400, I would probably use 3.08 gears.
