Closed loop boost control table
Hi!
I'm currently making a 'base' tune for my 5.3LS with a GT45 turbo. But I have a question about this closed loop boost control table. Is this a correct way to build the boost up?
My target max. boost is 14psi (200 kPA).
Thanks, Mark

If you have 100 under where it spools, the boost controller will only try to target that. Basically meaning the boost controller wont be full shut, effectively not helping your spool because 100 KPA is what you will see WOT before boost anyways.
If you target 200 everywhere and set your boost delta to a reasonable setting, like 40 or 60 kpa, then the MS will keep the boost controller/wastegate completely shut until it gets with in the delta, which will help spool a ton.
