Looking for help selecting turbo/turbos Need some help on selecting the right turbo/turbos for my new build. The car is a 1976 Datsun 280z. The engine is an LS3 with ARP head studs and main studs. Katech connecting rods and Diamond pistons.Not about max #'s. This is a street car first. I want good spool. The car should be around 2800lbs I would think. The floor has been removed from the firewall back.2x3 1/8" wall frame rails. The rear is a 9"Ford with an aluminum carrier,35 spline axles and 3.25 gear. MT DR 325x50.A torque arm suspension with double adjustable QA1 shocks. I have a turbo 400 and plan on about a 3800 stall. Looking to get a proper cam,springs,pushrods etc. This will also be run on 93 premium and meth injection. So I would think 12-15lbs boost.
My biggest problem is no one will insure a car with a roll cage in Ontario Canada. As I refuse to make it a track only car it will not have a roll cage or roll bar. Not the smartest I know.
Back to the turbo help. I see some good #'s using a single 7875.
I think two smaller ones would work nice as well.
Any thoughts?

Smaller the exhaust the quicker it spools, I run a turbonetics t4 Benita on my ls1, and absolutely love it . I can pull 10 psi now at 2700 rpms and continues too pull all the way too 6000. That being said , a 78/75 would probably be better for you as mine is a 78/68 and may cause back pressure issues on the larger displacement 6.2. I'm gonna run a pair of them on my 370ci lq9 this spring, and shoot for 1400 rwhp. The Benita is good for 850 I believe. Also I would think that your current engine would be up too the task of making 1000 at the tires, as all the weak points have been addressed .
