Any mods to the frame?, seems like a weak point on these blazers/s10's.
I am nitpicking but is there such a thing as a iron ls1?. Wouldn't it be easier to just call it a 5.3 or LM7.

I havent done anything to the frame to strengthen it. I did notch it for the AC to stay in the stock position.
I could call it a 5.3 LM7 but after bore it will be a 5.7. It will slightly resemble a 5.3 because I still have truck intake and accessories on it. But internally it will be a LS1.

Did some more work on the manifolds today. Its my first time doing pie cuts. I could have just ordered a 90 degree but I wanted to work on my welding and fab skillsand this was the excuse.
also got in a double walbro setup and some forged je pistons. Going to the machine shop next week to balance the rotating assembly. If i balance the assembly with the 4l60e flywheel will it be a problem when I change to a 4l80e and have to get a different flywheel?

Got the driver side to fit around the stock steering shaft. I will probably work in the steering shaft mod to get some more space. Fab skills are getting better. I will probably clean the cuts up so it welds nicely. But progress is coming.
