This is my first turbo and ls build. I have not done any of the math yet. So I say s475 because I'd like to leave some room for growth. Full port/ larger valves, ect. If anyone has good links for auto math or turbo tables, I'd like to try to expand my understanding for myself.
I know these are rather general specs, but input would be appreciated.
Ultimately my goal is 500hp and room to grow. I would like to stick to Borg or another non-ebay Chinese. Moderate budget, I don't really like equipment I can't trust, like chinese turbos/bolts.
Thanks and Merry Xmas, Nate
I am currently running a LJMS stg2 turbo cam in N/A forum. I think the cam is incredible even in N/A forum. If you look at Denmahs colorado, he is running the same cam, with a very similar turbo in specs to what you want, ( but his IS Chinese) is just laid down 895 RWHP. If your not familiar with his build, you better go look him up with his 250,xxx short block, and re-used head gaskets. Yes, I did not make any of that up, and he has done this OVER, and OVER. He has built more cars in the past 3 years, than I think I have my whole life, and I am NOT kidding. Total, I want to say 7? Fairmonts, a full size truck, some cheesy *** Nissan for his wife, ( that is a bad *** car) a truck for his wife, a Nova for/with a friend, and wrenched on a few stangs and I am sure more, oh yeah, and a Blues Brothers replica car too. Thats just off the top of my head.
