Boost Controller Issues: AMS500 V2 similar to AMS1000 I have an AMS 500 V2 BC and I am having issues. Controller has been installed for a month and I have never checked it's functionality until now. When installed, we checked to make sure it powers on and made sure the activation switch powers on and off as well. Which all that works fine.
When powering on, it operates as should. But when it is time to actually adjust the settings under "Setup", it flashes momentarily and stays on "Home Screen".

I have an ams 1000. Not sure if its going to be the same. Do you have the 12v activation signal hot? Its pin 1 on the 1000. If you have that jumped into pin 8 and its seeing voltage while you are trying to change stuff it probably won't let you because it thinks its in run mode. If so just removing the wire #1 from ams 500 should allow you to program it.
I just looked at the 500 wiring. Looks like pin 4 is your activation wire. Remove the 12v from that pin. It should be wired through a wot switch or some other means of starting the boost ramp.
I finally figured it out. Number 5 wire was the transbrake input was wired incorrectly. It was wired into the wrong circuit on the transbrake. It was wired to the side that always see's power. It should've wired to the side that only see's power momentarily.
By the controller being wired the original way, the controller "thinks" that I was activating the tbrake button the entire time while it was powered on and that was preventing me from accessing the "Setup" screen...
