controlling a boost solenoid Ok - so way too much reading and no answers
I want to run a 4 port boost solenoid.
What is the quick and dirty way to control it?
I am running a stock pcm - so no outputs there.
Can something like a rotary switch be used to regulate the solenoid?
Or do I have to buy an electronic boost controller and sub out the 3 port solenoid.

hmmm - I see Denmah using an AEM 12 position trim pot to run his boost controller prior to going to microsquirt, and I see a few ebay units that appear to be just some form of rotary dial
I am looking for how this is done and the possibility of doing something similar??

If you dont know what you're doing or how stuff works...just buy a boost controller.
A solenoid is only 1 part of an overall package.
But as others have said, there is no way to control boost from the factory ecu.
