Default O2 sensor location

What my setup involves is a drivers side header feeding crossover under oil pan to a log on passenger side. I plan on having my wideband sensor 8-10" from outlet of turbo.

Where should I install the o2 sensor? Should I put it in the drivers side collector before my v-band clamp or in the crossover pipe? Getting ready to install bung, figured the collector was best, but wanted opinions based on experience first.

FWIW, I only have the one O2 sensor for my Holley setup and it's about 16" behind the turbo in the downpipe. Works fine.

Hey thanks guys, I wasn't sure if I needed the narrowband sensor or not. I'm not sure which system I'm gonna run yet, the Holley or Megasquirt. Still researching that, which one is more user friendly for a computer challenged person such as myself.

Can't speak for the megasquirt a I have the Holley, but the Holley system is pretty user friendly. Word of advice though, if you have questions regarding installation or tuning, consult LS1tech, YB or the Holley forum. You'll get better feedback than from phone in Tech support.

Is there any advantage of using a narrowband sensor in addition to the wideband on the down pipe? This will be a mostly street driven vehicle, even the wife may drive it from time to time. I'd like to have a tune that only makes maybe 500 or so to the wheels, with the ability to turn her up at the track.

Does the narrowband offer any better drivability?

You'll be fine with only a wideband. No need for a narrow band. Read up on each and you'll understand the differences. Not to be rude, but it'd be a long response.
