I've built up a Gen III 5.3L and was hoping to avoid the truck manifold setup and go with a header based turbo kit. I've done my searches and called a number of companies but I was really hoping to find a first gen Camaro specific header based single turbo kit. If there is nothing available, I would appreciate a link to a good build thread (from someone a little better with the search function) who used a generic kit or maybe someone on the forum who sells a kit? This is along the lines of what I want to do with turbo headers, single turbo, and intercooler. http://image.superchevy.com/f/119700...-ls-engine.jpg
Thanks!

just finished mine (nova) same subframe but camaros have more room in the nose...
I went this route because I already had c5 accessories, so I used cx racing c5 turbo headers. The driver side is out of box untouched ,the passenger side I cut the collector off, shortened and added a 90°collector and vband . I was very impressed with the quality of them, very heavy gauge stainless steel and excellent welds.
Here's mine

Call KB Racing. His log coupled with a driver side header and a fabbed crossover should be what you are looking for. I actually used a first gen Camaro header for my driver side so take a look in my thread to see what is possible.
