Gotta couple of questions. I got a F1R pro charger from my buddy for a steal. He sold me a 8 rib belt aster bracket and cog bracket set up. I got a blower cam from him also.
First question is can I run the cog and keep my A/C if not I guess I'll run the aster bracket.
My next question is since the cam is 239/259/115+4 which engine should I go with. 402 LS2 or 416 LS3? The car is a 71 Monte Carlo so it's a tank.
My goals are simple. I'm not looking for HP numbers although I've read that the F1R is a max effort unit, I'm looking for a weekend cruiser to have fun with that'll see the track once a month for sure. I probably will have some PP ls3 heads to start until I get the rest of the car drive train finished then I'll go with some aftermarket heads. I'm not in a rush to install the pro charger so should I wait until I get the aftermarket heads to install it or would it be fine without them? Thanks in advance
