Default Any issues venting a recirculated BOV?

I went SD tune years ago, and just got around to upgrading my TTi Street kit's intercooler.

Since I had to reroute some cold side piping, I was thinking of venting my old HKS Type 1 BOV to atmosphere. I threw a filter in it just so debris does not get into the valve.

You guys see any potential issues? I drove it around the block and it appears to build boost, and vent with no issues. Just a lot more noise now.

Won't be an issue at all. Just check the filter a lot as it's open most of the time

Thanks! I can probably get the old piping to fit, but wanted to double check in case I decide to just leave it vented.

I run a synopse bov that was designed for recirc. I've had a filter on it for like 5 years with an outerware, but still in the engine bay though
