Default Boosted short motor build help

I'm looking at building a new short motor after my LQ9 408ci spun a bearing and damaged the crank, 2 x Rods, 2 x Pistons and stuffed the bore.

Im aiming to make 950-1000rwhp though a T400 and IRS, Saying that I am in Australia and our dyno's seem to be a little more conservative down under.

Can anyone see any issues with the parts selection

364ci LQ4 iron block
Dragonslayer or Compstar crack
Callies rods With L-19 bolts
Wiseco Pistons 9:1 comp
Use current ARP main studs
Use current ARP head studs or go 1/2 studs
New Comp Cam
ACL bearings

6800-7000max rpm
20-25psi
With a BW S480/ race cover, 1.32ar 96mm turbine

will also be using the Trickflow as a cast 220 heads I had on the 408 and the Edlebroke proflo intake

cheers for any input

Any real need for iron ?

And if you can easily go for 1/2 studs, then there are no real downsides to them

pinned main caps can do no harm too

I want to use an iron block for added insurance.

As for ring packs im not to sure.

My aim is for close to 1000rwhp so I'm leaning more towards the Dragon Slayer and Ultra I beam rods. I also have to look into Oliver rods.

I'm short of where you are aiming to be, but up until the turbo change it made 820/900. Had it apart last year and all was well... no evidence of anything moving. Rods are pictured, crank is the same (non dragonslayer). ARP 2000 for rod bolts.

That's good to hear, I few guys here have gone 900s with Compstar gear also.

Im thinking I'll over build this motor incase I ever end up switching to a GT4788 or GT50 witch I'd love to do but the price of turbos down under is getting crazy
