different kind of belt question i don't know how to word this, so if some one gets it and could phrase it better please feel free:
when a pully is not alligned with a belt ( not parrallel to each other) , where will the belt tend to walk or move towards in relation to where the pulley is pointing?
i.e: belt ===
pulley //
===// will the belt move up or down in this example ?

the belt will try to move towards where the two pulleys are closest together, the belt isnt going to try to climb making itself tighter if that makes sense to you. In you pic it would try to move towards the left.
