Another huron speed turbo kit installed...

Finally back on the road. Been wanting to post up the final results but had issues with knocking after letting a friend drive it. 😩 anyways car started as a 98 stock ls1 with around 125k. Installed pac1218 valve springs. Tuned and dynoed made 426hp with 5lbs. Torque #'s didn't get forgot the reason why tuner couldn't get them. After 2-3 month driving the car started knocking as after friend drove it found metal shavings in oil. Pulled motor and ended getting a stock 05 lq9 ,sent out trans to rpm for rebuild. Installed PAC 1218 on the lq9. Got it tuned at a different place and made 496tq / 436hp. Totally different low end for sure compared to ls1. Same 5lb spring. One thing that's got me thinking is if the stock cam on the lq9 tops at 5k as you will see at 5k power the drops off. Maybe that's the tuner getting out of it or it's just the truck cam? Anyways Im pretty Happy with it thus far, not sure if I should change the cam or just turn up boost. I got one short video from the last pull I will try to post up later today.
