Insight on supercharged 5.3
Insight on supercharged 5.3 So I'm pretty sure I'm going with a 5.3 with a torqstorm supercharger. I did a 5.3 swap in my 87 trans am that I recently sold so I do have some experience. I would like some insight on some common things you would do to the motor and maybe a few choice cam selections? I'd like to try to stay budget minded as it isn't a full out race car but I would like to see 4 to 500 to the wheels thru a 4l60e. I think that's a decent goal and can be done with a cam and the supercharger. I do not plan to port the stock heads.
Anyways this is gonna be a long build as I just bought the car a 1968 lemans already setup to be a gto clone. I figured this would give ample time for nailing down a build. Any insight will help as I'd like to do it right the first time.
