Default Turbo options

So vs racing has been introducing a lot of new turbo options lately and with alll these choices brings into question what would work best. I've got a built 370 with 9.2:1 compression (flipping crap gas in cali). I have a full forged bottom end with ls3 heads and full arp hardware. I liked the idea of a borg but unfortunately it won't fit with my particular kit. I'm looking to be able to make 750rwhp without pushing the turbo to its limits.

Options are the standard 7875 which due to lower compression and that seems to be about the max for that turbo.

Their newer 8375 with a 1.10 ar. It should flow a bit more due to the larger compressor and with the larger AR housing probably won't choke as badly on the top end.

They have the vsracing 9688 with the 1.25 housing which I'm pretty sure is their version of the borg which would be rad but it's physically too large if I'm correct.

Then lastly they have the 8883 which is a .96 housing. I'm afraid this turbo will choke up on the top end due to the .96 housing. Although I have heard it can make that power level without too much trouble.

I'm really leaning towards the newer 8375 with the 1.10. I like the bigger at housing and the slightly larger compressor should help to make some extra power. I will go with the 8883 if you guys think it would perform better and it choke up. I plan to run it up to 6800-7000rpm. In a perfect world vs will let me order an 8883 with a 1.10. That would make me soooo happy but nothing in this world is perfect lol

What are you trying to do with the car?? Street, track, good daily driver? Otherwise go for the biggest turbo you can get or you will just blame yourself later for not getting it. Not the best response but at least it's honest.

I agree go big, a big t6 borg or the vsracing billet 88 clone. I have a 7875 on my 6.0 and I'm really wishing I had gone with something much bigger.

So this is my set up although that's not my car. Same kit though. I'd love to put a t6 borg. Just with how large they are I don't think it will physically fit.

It isn't a daily driver. However I would like to be able to drive it all over town if I should so choose. I don't want to have to trailer it. It should be able to show up to the track or street races under its own power.

Since it will be on the street I'm not worried about not having enough to turn it up more. 750rwhp on the street is insanity as it is.

Basically I guess my questions are if I get a 8883 with a .96 do I have to worry about it choking on the top end? As it still has a small AR. Would the 8375 be a better choice since it has the 1.1 housing to not choke on he top end? I mean a 7875 would provide all the power I'd ever want from this particular car I just am not one for pushing things extra hard. I'm the kind of guy who builds a 1000hp car and runs it at 750hp. Then when I want 1000 I build a 1250 set up
