2000 SS D1sc Map/SD question
2000 SS D1sc Map/SD question Haven't had a car in a long while. Picking up a built 2000 ss with a D1sc. Im pretty familiar with the car however im wondering if anything new came out tuning wise in the last 8 years. This car I bought has been sitting for awhile and has a SD tune. My old car b4 I sold it and had a family
was SD tuned. We used the SD tune because the MAPs at the time couldn't really make much more than 600HP reliability.
Im wondering if something new has came out. Maybe a new hacked MAP or a new computer capable of reading MAPs in high boost?

Do you mean MAF? They've had multi-bar map's for years and custom operating systems that will allow the stock PCM to read boost. It's been done for a long time. If you meant MAF, check out my sticky on how to tune a high HP setup using a MAF.
