Heads and Cam for LSA Blower
I'm back in the game with another GTO
I'm debating doing a Procharger or a LSA blower, just trying to get my options laid out.Car has a stock LS1 with SW headers and exhaust. If I go the LSA blower route, I'd like to switch to LS3 heads in order to not have to run adapter plates and therefore keep hood clearance. I'm planning on forged pistons and rods (347) with the stock crank. What would be a good cam to run with this combo? Are the LS3 heads worth the effort over my 241s? (I'm assuming a huge yes here). Anything to be weary of? Car is a 6 speed.
If I go Procharger, I'd probably keep my 241s and just do a Brute Speed cam and an F1A with forged internals. But the LSA torque is very tempting, and it's a bit more affordable.
I'm all ears

Thanks,
Adam
With forged internals and the ability to up the boost ,,,, you wont be missing any TQ at all. You will have plenty of under the curve fun driving power.
Many of us are hitting over 500 ft lbs at 2500 RPM ......... and climbing to 600, 700 even 800 in short order. with the LS1 and moderate amount of boost through an F1A I'm sure you will see 400 - 500 ft lbs. in that lower RPM range.
Is that enough for ya ?
