Yep, there is **** all new, you could say everything is a copy of something.
next the attorney dude will say GM will start suing all the aftermarket companies for making their "copy" parts like blocks, cranks, rods, pistons, cylinder heads, intakes...etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

I see they've released images with dimensions

Not sure why the poster who's posts have been deleted claimed unequal length runners....nothing I see here gives the impression of unequal length. Height is still fairly high though, and it'd be nice to see inside that lid.

Launching!
The Shearer "Surge" modified Hi-Ram is taller still, at about 9.75" from the valley flange to the top of the cover. Looks like the BTR design is 2" shorter due to a significant reduction in runner length.

I got this email today from BTR:
Our Machine Shop is on target to begin shipping finished Equalizer 1 Intake Manifold’s to our Bardstown, Ky Location this week (1/7-1/11). Our packaging for the manifolds has arrived as well. We will be able to do final check offs, box and ship as soon as we have the first run delivered from machining. That being said, our pre-order list is very long. We are going to be shipping these units in the order of which they were sold. Fuel Rail Kits will be shipping as well, however their final packaging may not be ready in time, so they will be sent in a properly sized box, with appropriate packaging to protect against any damage. We want everyone to have a top-notch piece upon delivery and we only have one chance at a first impression!
Our last update projection was to begin delivering these units in December, so please accept our apologies and gratitude for the additional time delay.
WHEN WILL MINE ARRIVE?
As stated, we will be shipping these Intakes in the order they were purchased. We will be able to send out the first batch the week of January 14th. Following this, we will have the ability to ship a great deal more per week, moving into February. Because of the popularity and unforeseen delays, we will be shipping these as they are finished machined, to decrease on end user wait time. Our preorder list is very long, but understand, the pre-sale clients sit at the front of the line to receive theirs. We have put measures in place to ensure nobody can “cut the line” so to speak.
MAP SENSOR INFORMATION
Please note, the Equalizer 1 Intake Manifold has THREE MAP SENSOR LOCATIONS. Only ONE of these locations is drilled all the way through for use. If you wish to change your map sensor location from the rear of the manifold, you must plug the pre-machined hole to prevent from a very large plenum leak, and finish drilling the MAP location you desire for use. IF YOU DRILL FOR A DIFFERENT LOCATION; it goes without saying, clean your manifold of any and all metal debris prior to running it on your application.
An easy LS1 MAP plug option can be found here:
https://www.boltdepot.com/Product-Details.aspx?product=21654
We do not advise the use of ANY form of sealant, JBWeld, etc to plug this location.
MAP SENSOR LOCATIONS:
Location 1: Front of manifold, LS1 MAP sizing. NOT DRILLED FOR USE.
Location 2: Rear of manifold, LS1 MAP sizing. PRE-DRILLED FOR USE.
Location 3: Rear of manifold, LS3 MAP sizing. NOT DRILLED FOR USE.
CONCERNS
We received a concern stating that we have had casting issues. To be forward, it is unclear where this fear is stemming from. We have discussed minor porosity in test castings with a few industry partners, which has been corrected prior to final production. The bottom line is we will not ship a product that isn’t up to standard. You should have zero fear in terms of component quality. We have partnered with top-tier USA based production facilities for this exact reason. Keeping our eye on the build process and supporting State-Side business was at the top of our priority list.
Thank you so much for your continued attention and patience. We sincerely appreciate the understanding.
