Default Thinking about a turbo or supercharger

Hey all, I've got a question. I've got a Lq4 and she's bored and stroked. I have to rebuild it so I've been tossing around the idea of adding some pressure to it but I've got one concern. It's bored 70 over which is basically at its max. Obviously it was sonic tested and there are no issues with it...but if I put boost on it I'm afraid it'll blow through the wall.

What do y'all think?

Depends on how much "pressure" you want to add......

I was thinking probably no more than 10 psi. I'd love to add more but I don't want to break it. My knowledge on this subject is nonexistent other than my 7.3 is a turbo diesel.

I'm no expert either....but its not like you need a 4 year degree in turbos to understand it enough to put together a set up.

10 psi.....use the stock crank....forged rods and pistons. It'll be just fine for 10 psi.

I have a complete turbo kit ready to install....But I'm liking the idea of a supercharger instead. Twin-Screw maybe.....
