Turbo Piping. Does semetry matter?
Recently removed the motor from my 2000 z28. Currently using an On3 turbo KIT. Considering new plumbing for the turbo while I am at it. One corky question i have is, does the distance exhaust gas travels matter when mounting a turbo? If you mount on the driver side, and that bank has less distance for exhaust gas to travel, does that put more stress on that bank? Is this even a thing? Is it irrelevant? Thanks in advance!

Just don’t put T-connections in your piping. Every transition should be smooth Y-connections like the way header primaries merge into a collector. This goes for exhaust AND charge piping.
inb4 “but this guy has T-connections and his car runs great!” Yeah, but not as great as it could have if he understood fluid dynamics in even the slightest sense.

I'm sure at some level yes symmetry does matter, good even flow matters as will many other things.
In the real world, with real budgets will poor symmetry affect performance so much that it really matters ? Nope.
