Yes still have ac. No modifications necessary. The major mods for me were cutting the cowl and hood and relocating my fuses under the frame rail so i could get my air filter in that location. I already had my front bumper support installed but i would advise installing one if you dont have one. It opens up the front area for the heat exchanger and extra set of fans. You might be able to get a factory zl1 hx in there somewhere without it, but i am not sure.

Yes, more info would be great on this swap. I don't have a 4th gen, but I'm running an LS1 with 4th gen accessories. I am curious what you will do for tuning also.

The olson custom works blower pulley kit and the lsx innovations heavy duty tensioner kit is all i had to for my fourth gen. Now on a ls swap it all depends on where your alternator and ac compressor are mounted. If they are in the 4th gen stock locations then you are golden, if they are mounted high like most swaps, then not sure on that.

I am doing my own tuning with hptuners.

Thanks for the reply. I'm running the complete stock 4th gen accessories, but I have them spaced out 3/4" to match up to the truck balancer. I did that becuase I'm running a low mounted Sanden SD7B10 and spacing it out was my only option. I believe that the truck pulley matches up with the stock pulley on the LSA if i'm not mistaken.

As for the tune you are using with HP Tuners, are you using the stock OS or the 2bar OS? I'm running a 1999 Z28 computer so this is peaking my interest. Very similar built to what I want.

I guess this would be for the 68 camaro? My dad has a 68 5.3 ls with 4l60e that we thought about putting one of these on but that has since fallen through. This power in that car would be a beast..

i am running a 2bar os with hptuners with my stock 99 computer as well. Everything is working great, just creeping up on the right tune. Not getting a whole lot of seat time with two little ones and with work, but it is coming around and running hard. I am not sure about the spacing with the truck pulley? That is really the biggest obsticle to making this work is just figuring out the pulley situation and making room for everything..
