Good job on the new personal best. Gives me hope for mine if I can ever get it set up properly since our set ups are so close.

Seeing that you have a full 200rwhp more than me, I'd be willing to bet that you have an EASY 8 second car when you go auto. Especially when you are on a tire leaving in boost.

Won't I lose a good 150 hp or so going auto?

No sir. I put that wives tale to the test immediately after the install, lost 20rwhp through an unlocked 400, and actually made more torque. Same dyno, and it was loaded the exact same....3750.

Main thing to keep in mind is, getting the right torque converter. If it's not right, then you will lose lots of power. You want it to couple up hard under power, but still loose on the bottom end. Any reputable company should be able to make that happen
