Absolutely no need to go 408 with your goals. The strongest stock block/crank platform would probably be what I built. Gen5 iron 5.3 block/crank, molnar rods with custom BTR wiseco pistons topped with 243’s and off the shelf BTR turbo cam. I used joses billet s485/96 T6 1.32 AR which would easily make 1100 wheel but I would go with the 88/100 right off the bat. With converter technology you can spool that easily.
