Another oil supply and return question. On3 kit
I just want to get this return and supply line stuff while the engine is in the stand and I can take the pan back off. Way easier to be done now.
I’ve done tons a research and it seems no two installations agree on this. One thing that seems to be universal is that you want your return line tap in the pan to be above the expected oil level. I purchased a shorter pan because my c10 will sit a little lower than I’m comfortable with using the stock truck lq4 pan.
So first, would you agree the best place for the return hole to be drilled into the side of the front facing wall of the oil pan? I’m thinking I’ll use the on3 setup but their support hasn’t responded to a single question yet.
Are both of the little holes where the supply line goes supply holes? All the adapters I see seem to have only one hole. After a little research it seems to be best to use a restrictor plate since I’ve got a high pressure melling pump installed? http://www.on3performance.com/shop/o...ictor-4an-035/
finally, since I can’t get an answer from on3, does anyone know if their single-turbo setup for the 01 1500 truck sits up higher so I can retain the ac compressor?
