Methanol Injection Nozzle Angle

Methanol Injection Nozzle Angle I see most kits mount the nozzle perpendicular to the intake tube and flow. Is that just a matter of convenient mounting? I would think that having the nozzle angle more parallel to the boost flow would be better correct?

I use two nozzles about 45 degrees apart on the top half of the pipe. The point is the half the best angle to fill the entire air stream wothou t it puddleing up in the bottom or having some air not flowing through the mist. I use gravity instead of mounting them in the bottom part of the pipe spraying up I feel like spraying down is better

I spray after my iat so that the methanol isn't forcing false reading of the iat. If the methanol is on the sensor the going across will show colder but this has been a debate for a long time and I don't know which is better I only know what my tuner prefers to have so I did it that way
Ideally, sure parallel would be best. But it doesn’t really matter IMO. The new kits atomize the fluid so well I can’t see losing sleep over mounting position. Also air is flowing past so quickly it’s likely never going to hit the other side of the pipe in most WOT conditions when mounted at a 90* angle. In low pressure areas like in the turbo inlet, positioning is more critical.
