Changing a supercharger impeller

Default Changing a supercharger impeller

Hi I have got a P1SC-1 procharger with some dameges on the impeller. I managed to get an impeller and now in a process of changing it . I started the disassembly process reached to a certain step and cant preceed any further . Sending the supercharger to procharger company is not an option to me since I live overseas. Can some one guide me on how to proceed further I'll attached some pictures or if there is any special tool to get the impeller out

Obviously you'll need to unbolt the impeller and press the shaft/bearing out from it.

I'm sure there are countless guides online how to do it if you search.

Hard to believe this can be done without a jig and a specialty system to make sure that impeller is perfectly aligned, I'd assume the whole assembly has to be dynamically balanced given the RPM's it turns... Thinks go wrong very badly at those speeds..

Aligned with what ?

It's a simple small diameter shaft with a bearing then the gear. There is nothing that needs alligned

If you wanted you could make marks before removal so you could put it back the way it came apart....but having done my old Vortech a few times, it really isnt an issue at all.

Are all the bolts right hand threads?? I heard some are left hand ( rightly loose )

Depends on the rotation of the unit, but it would be typical to use a thread on the impeller shaft for example that isnt inclined to come undone during normal rotation of the unit.
