Another vote for Taylors. I’ve used their cut-to-length kits on SBCs and they’re great. Having the right crimping tool is a must.

Ditto on the crimping tool.
I built a set of MSD for a turbo 2010 Camaro at the shop.
The instructions were poor. The cheapo crimper in the Kit was worthless.
The price was rediculous.

In order to fit 8.5mm wire into the coil end thats designed for 7mm wire needs the correct crimper.

i buy whatever wires i want, usually a sbc set then use the lt1 optispark ends on the coil side.
i like the straight type with a large plug boot. i used edelbrock ones last time, they seemed pretty good quality for the price

Taylor 8mm $40 SBC wires with 90 degree boots for spark plug side under engine routing). Then get the Taylor LS coil boots for $12. Your good to go. I paid more for my taylor firepower 9mm LS truck wires where I could have done this twice. I run mine out the back under the coil covers and then down and under my turbo headers. Super clean and no issues all summer.

I also use the cut to length Taylors (92053) and the LT1 boot kit for the coil ends. Mine still cascade over the valve covers to the plugs and it's cramped with the CXRacing headers but I opted for the 135 degree boots and I've ran them for 2 years now w/o issue.
