Default Procharger F1X on a 2003 Silverado

I just pick up a F1X to replace my P1X . I have a staged 2 bracket with a crank 8 rib pulley. I was told that it would not work I would only have slip not looking at run more than 14 or 16 psi.. I just look a a RPM video with a Corvette and F1X and looks like it has a 8 rib pulley system.. Anyone on here with a F series blower and a 8 ribbed pulley system??? Thanks Rick.

Being an eight rib, I take it you have the dedicated bracket, which has a belt just for the blower. If so, you stand a chance of powering the F-1X since you're only looking for 14 to 16 psi. I would use to race bypass valves with it to eliminate compressor surge. Bob

I'd give the F-1X a shot with your 8 rib bracket. The F-1X doesn't take a lot of power to run it so you might not have a problem with belt slippage. The only way to go 12 rib or cog is to swap over to the Transplant bracket assembly.

Cog Transplant

With the Transplant brackets you have to use ProCharger's alternator and power steering or power steering delete brackets. They can be found at this link.

You also have to run this balancer. Thanks. Bob

House of Boost makes a 12 rib dedicated setup for the trucks. I have one running a F1D.
