Default Fuel pump for bypass regulator

I bought a pro systems bypass regulator for my blow through carb. I was wondering if the a1000 would be a good pump to use with it. It says its 150 gph. I wasnt sure if i run a bypass setup if i need a higher gph fuel pump. Or just go back to a deadhead regulator. The motor is an on3 78/75 turbo on 5.3. 650 csu carb. Thnx

The regulator doesn't care what pump you run unless the pump is so powerful that it pumps more fuel than the regulator can bypass.

The fuel pump that normally goes with that regulator is a 440 gph.

The fuel pump should match the fuel type and amount fuel the engine needs, To big of a pump will needlessly heat up fuel and to small will run the bowls dry.
The regulator is there to regulate pressure not volume.

Having seen a pro systems 440, I have a really hard time believing it flows 440 GPH, especially through an 8AN outlet at low pressure. That's over 4000 horsepower worth of gasoline, or a gallon every 8 seconds.
