Default iat sensor before or after throttle body?

on a turbo application less than 15 psi, is it better to have the iat in the truck intake manifold( where the evap purge solenoid would be) behind the throttle body, or in the aluminum pipe between the intercooler and the throttle body? ive seen it done both ways many times with push in and thread in iat's. any real benefit either way? thanks.

Either way works. Less heat soak with it in the plastic manifold.
