Default Heat exchanger on a C10

Looking for anyone who has installed a heat exchanger on a 67-72 C10 pickup with an LSX. I have a Whipple 2.9L and trying to figure out which HE to install, because anything will have to be custom fitted for this application. Whipple told me to get the biggest one I can. I have a 28x15.5" opening in the core support to work with, so I was thinking something like a ZL1 dual fan AFCO exchanger might be good to deal with Atlanta summer time heat.

Look into an Afco dual pass for like a raptor , or lightning . I bet it would be a pretty close fit . The one in my cutlass was for a gt 500

I ended getting a NIB ZL-1 AFCO exchanger from a guy on the forum at a great price. It will actually fit pretty damn good in the factory core support opening.

Thanks for the replies!
