From what I read if your head supports tapered plugs then it will most likely work with gasket plugs. But if the head has a flat mating surface then tapered plugs won't work. My TFS 220 as cast heads have stock LS1/LS2 style tapered holes so either style should work.

That's why I started this thread. I know there's a bunch of folks out there that been there done that. I just need them to tell me what they done.
Two year old BR7EF plugs are out. They are pretty sooty but at least the gaps look good. Car had been idling very rich up until lately when I finally got around to getting the MPW of the 96 lb'ers in check.
If you can run a gasket seat plug with your heads by all means do so. I like the NGK R5671A-8 for your power level assuming your tune up is clean it won't cause any problems. Really though the plug will tell the tale after making a pull on fresh plugs but if you aren't fouling out 8s then that would be my starting point on that combo.
