Default 1000hp build

Hey guys was wanting some opinions on my 900-1000whp build I’m wanting to build my c6 z06 2008 up with a 5.3 or 6.0 fully forged what’s the most budget block internals and heads to go with to make this kind of power. Should I grab a iron block or a aluminum 6.0 5.3? Still debating on the force induction I want to go with I do want to drag race and mostly roll race but I will be daily driving this car 7 days a week also I know crazy also live in Cali.

Anyhow my main questions

What affordable block?

what good set of heads to go with that make good power? Ls3/lsa??

should I go wet sump or dry sump? And why?

Im trying to get this done with 20k including blower
I’ll find a used blower probably a YSI and some used injectors and a clutch that’s around 1500$

1. What do you deem is "affordable" ?

2. Almost any heads can make the power...but I'd always say buy good heads as they make the job easier. But that also comes back to budget and what me be affordable for you.

3. You tell us....nothing in your description of use warrants an actual dry sump though.....although of course it would be an excellent choice if your budget can afford it.

But.....talk of a dry sump ( easily several thousand ), and then buying critical items like injectors and a clutch second hand ???

Twins would probably be more drivable, but you don't have a lot of real estate in a 'vette. A pair of symmetrical 66's would be perfect, though.

As for what shortblock to use...?
GenIV 4.0" bore, iron or aluminum block, stock crank, forged rods/pistons.
GenIV 4.065" bore, aluminum block, stock crank, forged rods/pistons.

Heads:
Stock 799's
Ported 799's
TFS220 As-Cast
MMS230 NFI

Intake:
TBSS
Fast 90
Ported Fast 90
MSD
Ported MSD

Cam:
Custom spec'ed for your application, preferably cut on a Cam Motion core.
