1780hp for $15k ? Interesting article, and of course some corners cut to meet the budget. But big numbers for the blower and drive....that many might have said could not support it. And all on stock head bolts ( for around 20 pulls apparently )

15k, engine parts only. Not included was machine work, balancing, assembly, all the used parts, Holley and harness, all the pro charger parts. Injectors, Throttle body etc.

I like how LME took full advantage of the machine work costs not factoring into the equation. LS7 crank is a pretty good cheap crank when you don't have to worry about paying for all the heavy metal that goes into balancing it for steel rods. I bet that billet intake manifold only counted for the price of the raw materials.
