Default Turbo manifold help

Hey guys, just read through a ton of information in sticky regarding turbo manifold sizes... a lot of it is based on crossover pipes and didn’t see a lot of answers regarding a twin turbo setup.

so I am running truck manifolds with vbands (in picture) pretty sure they are 2.5” vbands. I need to add about 1’ length to each manifold to reach the turbo under the headlights. What size pipe should I buy from vband to the t4 housing on the manifolds. Also do you think 2.5” full exhaust will be enough for me? I’m kinda limited to that size due to chassis. Here is link to the turbos which I read a member on here recommended on a 5.3 for like 700hp.

2.5” is fine on the manifolds, crossover should be 2-2.5” I run 2.25” on mine but I have 3” turbo headers. For the downpipes if the Vbands are 3” then I would try to run 3” for as long as you can and step down to 2.5 if you have to. Maybe cutouts?

also you spent a lot on eBay Gt35s with small exhaust wheels. I would have gotten the VS 61/62s they sell a pair for $500, could of saved $200.

So from the vband on manifold I should taper down to 2.25 until my t4 flange?

I should have room for cutouts. That would be pretty cool if it helps make that much more power.

also do you have a link for those other turbos? I literally purchased 2 hours ago. Maybe I can do a return.

No I’m saying extend the manifolds with 2.5”. I think the minimum tubing to stretch to fit a T4 flange is 2.5”, u can buy premade on eBay, not sure if is 2.5 or 3” for the T4.

Here are the turbos
https://turbo4less.com/product/twin-...d-discharge-3/

FWIW I run a single billet 78/75 .96 AR on m 5.3. Through a full 3” mandrel exhaust out the back I made 6-6.5psi on a 12psi spring. Opening a cutout 7ft after the turbo or half way up the exhaust after the turbo netted 8psi and audiable
spool noise and faster harder spool and more power with no other changes. Just a flip of a switch and boom massive difference.

I got a pair of the 61/62s 6 months ago and they look awesome. Viren said they would be good for 800-850hp
on a 5.3. They have 3” vband exhaust housings.
